Gifts from the Heart Christmas Shop – Giving Tree
Gifts From the Heart Christmas Shop is a unique partnership between eight local nonprofit organizations. The Christmas Shop provides an innovative alternative Christmas experience for the families in their respective programs.
It affirms the dignity of those parents by offering them the opportunity to purchase gifts for their children at a dramatically reduced and affordable cost, instead of watching while their children are given presents by others. The parents are given a hand-up to purchase gifts on their own vs the children getting a hand-out.
The eight non-profits are: Neighbor Up Brevard, Club Esteem, Love INC, Family Promise of Brevard, Community of Hope, Eckerd Connects, New Life Mission and Women’s Center of Brevard.
How can you participate?
- STOP by the Giving Tree in the main Lobby and choose an ornament tag (toy need maxed at $18), then…
- SHOP Purchase NEW toy described on the tag
- DROP off UNWRAPPED gift and place under the Giving Tree by Sunday, November 28 or drop it off at Sorensen Moving & Storage by Friday, December 3 (950 W. Eau Gallie Blvd. in Melbourne, FL 32935).
