SABBATH RHYTHMSexperienced together during Sunday gatherings

  • Children are welcomed in the nursery where they will be cared for by trained nursery staff.
  • Mothers are also welcome to make use of the Mother’s Lounge adjacent to the sanctuary.
  • Children are taught a Bible lesson that relates to other Elementary teaching for the day.

    SABBATH RHYTHMS

    • Children that are ready to remain with their parents in the service of worship are invited to participate in worship in the sanctuary before departing for their class prior to the sermon.
    • Children are welcomed into an inviting environment with caring teachers and volunteers.
    • Worship continues in age-appropriate ways with a Bible lesson, singing and motions, and opportunities to respond in prayer and with creative arts and crafts.

      SABBATH RHYTHMS

      • Children start the morning in the service of worship with their parents, worshiping alongside the primary disciplers in their lives. Before the sermon, they are invited to leave with their ministry leaders and volunteers.
      • Children enter a fun and engaging environment in the Boardwalk where they will worship through hearing the Word of God, worship through giving, worship through singing and praying together, and worship through recreation and fellowship.
      • All teaching and worship is Christ-centered and Gospel-focused with the aim that kids would come to know and understand the love of God for them and the hope we have in Jesus.

        SABBATH RHYTHMS

        • Older children likewise start Sundays in the service of worship. Those that would prefer to remain with their parents in the service are welcome to do so. Others will want to respond to the invitation to join their peers in the Boardwalk.
        • Children gather around the Word of God to go deeper in their understanding of faith and how it applies to their lives in everything they do. Children are encouraged to ask tough questions and look to God’s Word for the truth.
        • Children are invited to continue worship through hearing the Word, giving, singing and praying.
