Family Promise of Brevard
Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

What Family Promise Does and How We Partner with Them in Serving Families Transitioning Out of Homelessness
Family Promise of Brevard has three programs that work together in a holistic, integrated approach. Their goal is to provide homeless prevention, emergency shelter, and aftercare services for all homeless families in Brevard County. The purpose of growing into these three programs is to transform our county’s homeless service system into one that equips homeless families with all the necessary resources and education to maintain permanent housing. After graduating from their program, 88% of families maintain housing. Family Promise’s unique approach allows them to be with families every step of the way and help them get back on their feet and stay there forever!
Trinity Wellsprings is one of many local community churches who serve as host facilities for families in the program. Our participation as a church family entails being gracious hosts to our guests (up to four families) for a week from 5:00 pm – 6:30 am. During the day, our guests will be “off-campus” as adults will be working (if employed) or looking for employment or training (if under-employed or unemployed) while the children will be in daycare, school, and after-school programs.
Opportunities to Serve:
Prepare and Deliver Dinner, Provide Lunch fixings, Be an Evening Host (5:30 pm – 8:30 pm), Be an Overnight Host (8:30 pm – 7:00 am). Sign up to donate lunch food, snacks, desserts, and beverages.
Prayer and Support
During the week, we need all Trinity covenant partners to keep these families in your prayers and ask God to help them find stable housing.
