    • Children are taught to understand themselves as whole people, created to worship God and enjoy him forever, with mind, body, spirit and soul all part of the whole.

      • Children are welcomed into an intentional space where small disciplines like stillness, silence, gratitude, prayer, reflection and meditation on the Word of God are practiced.
      • Children learn that they can practice simple spiritual disciplines while at school or home as well, learning to give their concerns to the Lord and walk in the Spirit through prayer and meditation on Scripture.

        • Children are invited into more pronounced moments of the disciplines: writing down gratitude, engaging moments of confession before the Lord, praying in stillness and silence, and practicing Lectio Divina in meditating on God’s Word.
        • Children are given opportunity to express their concerns and learn how spiritual disciplines can assist us as whole people to keep in step with the Holy Spirit, depending on his guidance and love to overcome anxiety and fear.
