Purpose: Our culture's current view of men – at times hostile - viewing men as toxic and threats to well-being, at times dismissive with an emphasis on the empowerment of women, and often presenting a conflict between genders or between different special interests that always seem to marginalize the calling for men to be a key part of God's creation – means that we lack a strong and clear definition of what manhood should be. The goal of the center for authentic manhood is to fill in the gaps and give men a clear example and definition of masculinity based on the one who is the true man, Jesus Christ. We are pursuing this vision so that men can live out their true purpose and calling in whatever field God has called them too. Our goal and vision is to empower men to be righteous representatives of their Father in heaven here on the Earth in their vocational pursuits, in their families, in the community of faith to which they belong and in their relationships with their neighbors and colleagues. We long to see bold, courageous, humble, Christ- honoring, wise, joyous warrior men emerge who fight for the sake of righteousness, defend the weak and powerless and give honor to their Father who calls them to this great task in life. We intend to do this together as a community of men following after the true man Jesus Christ. Join us and let's walk together the path of faith in Jesus Christ our Lord!

Description: the Center for Authentic Manhood will use different contexts and gatherings like men's retreats, courses throughout the year, life group curricula, small group gatherings, and one-on-one discipleship opportunities to help men fully understand their calling and purpose. Because our vision is to journey as men together, we also want to be open to new ideas that men would lead for the sake of their friends on the journey. We would love to see men bring their passions and energy to the task to inspire other men to engage in ways that they have with our great God. We find that opportunities that get men outdoors and in God's creation have an outsized impact in leading us in the ways of the Master.

How to get involved: men can get involved by filling out the contact form below and indicating areas of interest, whether one on one discipleship opportunities, participation in a men's study or in a life group, or in upcoming retreats or outdoor trips. Additionally, you can indicate if you are interested to help lead or serve in the ministry. Part of our goal is a shared burden of ministry and leadership where we all help carry the burden together. We know that as individual men, we will never be able to walk in the way of Jesus for very long. But together, gathered around his word and empowered by his Holy Spirit, we can grow together into men of maturity, confidence, and courage that our great Father in heaven is calling us to.
