The Beach House exists for students to know Jesus.

Everything we do in Student Ministry is for Jesus and based around forming authentic relationships. Our Beach House spaces and events are designed by students with that in mind: for their friends to feast, game, pray, get in the Word, and experience God together. We believe being known and loved by God is the most important thing that can ever happen to you. Guests, friends, and siblings (grades 7-12) are always welcome, come as you are. Parents and older siblings can visit any Wednesday night; you’ll just need to check-in with a staff member when you arrive and be accountable to us for the night.

The Beach House building is located in the back of the TWC campus. With a gym and worship space, coffeehouse/lounge, kitchen, small group rooms, and great outdoor spaces, it's one of the chillest spots beachside. But, people really make the place: expect real friendships, trustworthy leaders, and a community in pursuit of Jesus together.

We want our students to know: You are not in this alone! We provide opportunities for our middle and high school students to connect with pastors and leaders who will encourage them, and like-minded peers to live life alongside.

BEACH HOUSE (WEDNESDAYS)

Wednesdays are youth nights and such a good time! Doors open at 6pm for dinner and hang outs. We settle in by 7pm for a rotating schedule of Worship, Groups, or Community Nights. Expect welcoming leaders, a laid-back vibe, new friends, biblical messages, student worship, and practical ways to respond to God in His goodness. We end informally with hang-time from 8-9pm. Friends and non-churchgoers are welcome! We expect the Holy Spirit to work in our midst-- God just asks us to show up with willing hearts for it!

PASSION CAMP (JULY 14-18)

Students LOVE Passion Camp. It’s a massive week of worship and play centered on Jesus. The team from Passion City Church has been hosting it for years, setting up for thousands of Middle and High Schoolers to converge on Daytona Beach. But, it’s been especially good of late and our experience there just keeps getting sweeter. This one week in July shapes the whole culture and year to come for Beach House students, leaders, and our young adult community! Please reserve your student’s spot ASAP and don’t let cost be an issue: there are major fundraising opportunities and need-based scholarships available. Reach out to Kristian or Ian with questions.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP

We have found that following Jesus overflows into leading others. Thus, students that demonstrate high commitment and willingness to grow are invited into a Beach House leadership track that includes trainings, retreats, and various summer opportunities. Those we select to be student leaders have a blast and are at the core of the Beach House community. To get involved, have a conversation in person with Kristian or Ian!

We preach Jesus Christ as Lord and teach the Word as our source and authority in all matters. We’re called to make disciples of Jesus, not ourselves, so we run hard after being learners and followers who truly love God and know that He loved us first. We pray every week to see transformation and healing in students’ hearts and everyday lives. You can expect your student to hear from the Bible every week and be challenged to apply it to a real, personal, private, and public relationship with the Lord who made them and bled for them. We believe in the whole Old and New Testaments, in line with the Apostles’ Creed (affirmed by nearly every Bible believing church in Christian history). Camps and Retreats are vital to discipleship, lasting friendships, and personal growth with Jesus. They open the way for future community and spiritual growth, in a way unlike anything else we can do. The big can’t-miss event is PASSION CAMP every July, so reserve your spot! A Fall and/or Spring Retreat is also offered. And student meet-ups happen all the time. Just talk to Kristian or Ian and get connected!

Leadership is not a right, it’s a privilege. Adult and Student Leaders are closely selected for their walk and calling in Jesus, then interviewed, vetted, and thereafter directly accountable to Student Ministry staff and TWC Elders. Beach House leaders are a tight community and leaders are expected to keep in step with staff and continue in training throughout the year. Other ways to serve include bringing meals on Wednesdays or volunteering at the annual Car Show fundraiser!
